Our CSA Program

How does the CSA program work?

Want to ensure that you have a weekly supply of locally grown food? Join our CSA.

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. CSAs or farm memberships are a means of creating a mutually beneficial connection between consumers and their farmers. Community members who want to support a local CSA farm can buy a subscription from the farm early in the season. In a traditional CSA, members receive a weekly bounty from their farm. That bounty is a set bounty which is a result of how many members the farm supports and what the farm is able to produce each week. At TerraWalk Farm we offer three options that are optimal for different people in different circumstances.

  • Small Share: Ideal for 2 people who have veggies with dinner

  • Medium Share: Ideal for a small family who eats veggies with dinner

  • Large Share: Ideal for vegan families who eat lots of veggies

We are often sold out by the end of February for each season. Join our email list to stay in the loop — this is the best way to get reminders when we have opened up new memberships.

What’s included in the CSA?

With your membership you will receive:

  • A diverse mix of nutritious vegetables that changes from week to week

  • A quarterly newsletter that includes relevant recipes, musings, and photos of the farm you support

  • The opportunity to directly support local farmers. CSA stands for "Community Supported Agriculture." It's a fantastic way to receive local produce and it provides us with a nice boost at the beginning of the season. Thanks in advance!!

  • Lastly, your purchase supports land stewardship!! Our practices have been shown to improve soil health and thus plant health. That benefits your health!!

  • Our guarantee: if you're dissatisfied with your share or move away, we'll issue a refund on a prorated basis.

What's available each season?

Below is a sample list of possible vegetables you might expect in your share on a weekly basis. Think of a season like a bell curve. In the beginning there is less and in the end there also can also be less… depending on the weather. The the vast majority of the growing season is quite bountiful.

NOTE: This is not exactly what you will receive. By joining a CSAm you are recognizing that there are many factors week to week, season to season that may challenge our well-devised production plan. Mother nature does not always consider our crop plan.
